Japanese inspired canopy

Behold the result of when a group of people organizes for a collective purpose: the creation of a gathering place in the park. We drew inspiration from the nearby old train depots, which are characterized by various types of frameworks. We opted for a diagonal framework that suggests movement and direction, as a wink to the station district. Combining this with inspiration from Japanese wood constructions, we arrived at the design of this meeting spot.
